Cherrysmash side projects.....

"Stretching Regular" is a brand new 13 song CD just released this month! Stretching Regular includes Eric Kern from "Cherrysmash", and David Purol of "Betatron 13" and formerly of "Euphoria". Don Zientara was executive producer. In addition to Purol and Kern, this CD will feature a large cast of local musicians from D.C. area bands including Duane Harner from "Ducks On Mars", Paul Gormely from "Soul Purpose", Dan Aylestock, Jon Bumbrey, and Shane Heselius of "Cherrysmash", Greg Davis from "Dagren", Jeff Hill from "The Fillers", and saxophonist Cliff Becker from "MisGuyded".

WAYFARER

The Wayfarer "Long Way To Go" compilation CD is an ongoing collection of Remixes from this late '80's Central Illinois college band, and as a catalog of the hundreds of songs written by Kern, Ratts, &/or Pierson in this era. This project is being performed mostly for the benefit and amusement of the founding members and any others who may have interest. Wayfarer was John Ratts, Eric Kern, Darren Pierson, and Joe Ingram. Among many other songs, this CD will include the original 1987 version of "Stay Away From My Heart" which is covered on the Stretching Regular CD.

"THE SOCK MONKEYS"

The Sock Monkeys is Cherrysmash bassist Dan Aylestock's current R&B project. Look for The Sock Monkeys now performing at clubs all over the mid-atlantic.
